Well, it is always the same problem you face when one of your best friends turns 30. When she is planning a huge birthday party on top of that you just cannot go there without a reasonable or let us adequate birthday present. But what to give to someone who seems to possess already everything, who seems not to be interested in that many things apart from work. And that she definitely is, an insane workaholic. It is quite hard to find the right strategy and the worst of all is that you just do not want to disappoint her, do you?
The solution was easy however, I had to get involved with another female friend of mine to convince her to go on a shopping tour with me. I considered it to be the best way to find my friend a good present just by trying to look inside a female‘s head and what they tend to desire at the age of 30. Well, I did not reveal much; it remains to be the same old stuff than it used to be. Clothes, cosmetics, jewellery; there is not much you can do wrong about this magic trio. And still there is of course.
You might already have chosen the right entrance but the universe of the magic trio is still unbelievably huge. What kind of clothes, what color, what style, etc. Always thankful when you have a good advise at your side. And so it came I bought some very nice new shoes for one of my best friends. Not very creative but in the end she really loved me for my taste.
